Xaidsart LLP lawyers Justin Safayeni and Carlo di Carlo both spoke at the Ontario Bar Association’s event on the “Nuts and Bolts of Summary Judgment Motion”, together with other members of the bar and the bench. Justin discussed the uses and strategic considerations of motions for summary judgment in commercial cases, while Carlo’s presentation focused on the practical and strategic decisions that must be made when bringing a motion generally.
Earlier in the morning, Justin spoke on a panel before members of the OBA’s media law section on “Legal and Practical Avenues for Unmasking Unidentified Internet Posters”. His presentation focused on the use of Norwich applications to uncover the identity of anonymous posters.
